SHOP SEA SISTERS

Founded by Charlotte Dawe and Angus Cowan, Sea Sisters became the first producers to can fish in England since the 1940s, bringing the European conservas tradition to UK shores. Working directly with local day-boat fisheries, they pack each tin by hand in small batches using high-quality olive oil, thoughtful seasonings, and time-honoured methods.

The result is beautifully simple, ready-to-eat seafood that delivers big flavour without fuss. Perfect for quick lunches, easy hosting, and low-effort luxury.

At Peak & The Pantry, we back brands that care deeply about what they make and how they make it. Sea Sisters are exactly that.

Their commitment to British seafood, ethical sourcing, and small-batch production reflects everything we stand for - honest food, thoughtful sourcing, and flavour that speaks for itself.

We stock a rotating selection of their most loved conservas.

  • Smoked rainbow trout preserved in olive oil, delicate and rich.
  • Smoked trout with chilli oil for a gentle heat.
  • West Country mussels with chilli and garlic, perfect for quick snacks.
  • Cornish hake with rosemary and capers, bright and balanced.
  • Cornish hake with seaweed and butter, rich and deeply savoury.
  • Cuttlefish caponata with basil and pine nuts, bold and full of character.
  • Harissa sardines, punchy and vibrant, ready straight from the tin.

Sustainability is at the heart of Sea Sisters’ work.

They source British fish caught using low-impact methods, support local fisheries, and can only in season to protect future stocks. Their tins are fully recyclable, and every step of production focuses on quality and minimal waste.
