Meet the Makers – Tired Mums Coffee

Born from conversations between mums who understood the chaos of family life, Tired Mums Coffee was created around a simple idea: great coffee can make even the busiest day feel a little better.

The brand combines carefully sourced speciality coffee with a commitment to supporting parents and their wellbeing. Its coffee is roasted in small batches in Wales, with 1% of coffee sales donated to charities supporting parents.

We love discovering independent businesses that make something genuinely good while doing good along the way.

A Little More About the Beans

Kenya – Kiambu County

The Kenyan beans come from Ruiru Mills Estate in Kiambu County. Grown in the highlands near Nairobi and washed after harvesting, they contribute bright, lively flavours including blackcurrant, lemon and vanilla.

Colombia – Huila

The Colombian coffee comes from the Huila region, known for its mountainous landscape and excellent arabica coffee. These washed beans bring chocolatey richness, red fruit and citrus notes to the blend.

Together, they create a coffee that's vibrant without being overpowering and rich without feeling heavy.

How to Enjoy

  • Brew in your cafetière for a relaxed morning coffee.

  • Enjoy with milk or black, depending on how you like your coffee.

  • Pair with buttery toast, pastries or a slice of cake.

  • Add to a breakfast gift or a little thinking-of-you package.

  • Keep a bag for those afternoons when a proper coffee break is called for.

Cafetière Brewing Guide

For a cafetière, Tired Mums Coffee recommends approximately 14g of coffee per 220ml of hot water.

Allow to brew for around four minutes before plunging. Adjust to suit your preferred strength.

A 60g bag makes approximately four cups at this ratio.
