Buying Christmas presents for food lovers sounds easy.
Until you actually have to do it.
Maybe it's your sister who already owns every cookbook. Your mum who loves trying new recipes. Your aunt who's always introducing you to new restaurants. Or the friend who somehow already has every kitchen gadget under the sun.
When someone genuinely loves food, buying another bottle of olive oil or another chopping board rarely feels very exciting.
I think the best food gifts do something different.
They introduce people to products they probably wouldn't have discovered on their own.
That's exactly why I created the Buy Women Built Christmas Food Gift Box.

Rather than putting together another Christmas hamper full of products that might only come out once a year, I've brought together some of my favourite female-founded food brands alongside Peak & The Pantry's own Kedgeree Recipe Kit and an exclusive festive recipe guide. The idea was simple: help people discover brilliant independent brands, make Christmas leftovers more exciting and create a gift that's still being enjoyed long after Christmas Day.
Why food lovers are so hard to buy for
If someone loves food, chances are they're already buying the good olive oil, collecting cookbooks and planning where they're eating next. They're usually the person introducing everyone else to new ingredients, new restaurants and new recipes.
That's why I think the best gifts aren't always the most expensive ones. They're the ones that introduce someone to something they've never discovered before.
One of my favourite parts of running Peak & The Pantry is finding products that make people say, "Where has this been all my life?" That's exactly what I wanted this gift box to do.
Meet the female-founded brands inside
One of the things I'm most proud of is bringing together businesses I genuinely admire.
Inside you'll discover products from:
• Peak & The Pantry
• Rempapa
• Woolf's Kitchen
• Chilli Galore
• Tired Mum Coffee
• JAMU (subject to final confirmation)
Every product has earned its place because I'd happily recommend it to a friend. Together they showcase some of the UK's most exciting female-founded food businesses, creating products that make everyday cooking easier, quicker and much more enjoyable.
Why I wanted to support female-founded food brands
As a small business owner myself, I know just how much work goes into getting one product onto someone's kitchen shelf.
Behind every jar, bottle and recipe kit is a founder who's spent years developing recipes, sourcing ingredients, designing packaging and building a business from the ground up.
I wanted this gift box to make it easier for people to discover those brands.
Not because they're female-founded.
Because they're genuinely brilliant.
The fact they're all founded by women simply makes me even more proud to bring them together.
More than a Christmas hamper
When I was putting this box together, I kept asking myself one question.
"Would I buy this for someone I care about?"
If the answer wasn't an immediate yes, it didn't make the final cut.
Every product has been chosen because it's genuinely useful. From transforming leftover turkey into fragrant noodle bowls to adding flavour to a simple cheese toastie, these are pantry staples you'll keep reaching for long after Christmas.
To me, that's what makes this different from a traditional Christmas hamper.
It's not just about opening the box.
It's about everything you'll cook afterwards.
Who would love this gift?
I'd recommend this for:
• Your foodie sister.
• Your mum who loves cooking.
• Your aunt who's impossible to buy for.
• The friend who always hosts.
• Someone who enjoys discovering independent food brands.
• Anyone who'd rather receive great food than more "stuff."
If you've ever found yourself wondering what to buy someone who loves food, I hope this box makes the decision a little easier.
